Law Degree Programs

As in the upper echelons of businesses, where the higher up you go, the fewer managers there are, so also is higher education--the higher up you go, the fewer schools there are. Law degree programs are grossly outnumbered by colleges and universities because a law degree is such an advanced degree.

There are less than 200 traditional classroom law schools in the US (compared to many thousands of colleges and universities). This means that entrance into law schools is getting increasingly competitive and difficult. More students and professionals are seeking law degrees than ever before; going after that coveted Juris Doctor degree (JD).

Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Columbia , and NYU have historically been the top law schools in the country, and they still are today. Yet there are many others to choose from all across the country.
